Review Pros
The socks were extremely comfortable.
While most socks use cotton or recycled plastics, Eco Sox uses vicose from bamboo.
They highlight all the energy that goes into growing, sustaining, and harvesting the cotton before it enters the processing stage.
For $9 a pair, these are absolutely worth it.
The pricing point on the Ecosox is comparable to other high end hiking socks and you can get a pair for between 5 and 9 dollars depending on the type.
The socks are breathable while still keeping my foot warm.
It offers arch support for proper fit, fight fatigue, knitted reinforced heel and toe for an ergonomic fit.
They provided great moisture control in my opinion.

I am proud of Ecosox for donating a portion of the proceeds from their profits to fight Breast Cancer.
They are designed for maximum comfort and durability.
It has a silk-like soft and buttery feel which is ultra-soft against skin.
Their fit is true to size.
The socks are perfectly form fitting and did not slide, which was great.
Making use of bamboo instead of cotton or wool, the company is using a more renewable resource that releases more oxygen into the air than its competitors.
Ecosox is also great because they plant trees per purchase.
There is plethora of fun colors.
All of their Breast Cancer Awareness Socks, are made of viscose from bamboo.
These socks are odorless; even when wet, they don’t seem to retain odor the same way normal wool or synthetic socks do.
No rips or holes developed in the socks.
I also chose them because of their neutral style ankle sock that was also a reasonable price.
They make bamboo fiber socks, one of the most sustainable materials when harvested correctly.
The sock remained soft even after three washes so far.
Even after repeated washing and use, they’re still holding up – and they’re still really soft.
Padded throughout the foot and with an arch-support to fight foot fatigue, Ecosox bamboo hiking socks will keep your feet feeling fresh.
An extremely comfortable sock to wear that protects your feet from blisters and odor by its natural properties are socks that find themselves on my feet more than any other socks I own lately.
These hiking Socks are made from 80% Viscose from Bamboo, 10% Polyester, 5% Nylon, 3% Spandex, and 2% Rubber.
The magic to these socks is that moisture-wicking and comfort.
The socks did an admirable job of not smelling as much as other non-technical pieces of gear over the course of the adventure.
Best of all, the bamboo will keep these socks smelling fresh and new for multi-day backpacks.
The socks breathed well, and regulated moisture to the best of their ability in the aforementioned challenging conditions.
The specialized heel cup, mid-foot elastic, and frontal pad keep the sock in place and provide extra cushion and padding in places needed most.
The are padded throughout which is super comforting to my feet.
These are one of the softness pairs of socks I have worn.

The moisture-wicking properties of viscose from bamboo help to keep your feet cool in warm weather and warm in cooler temps by absorbing sweat and moisture and pulling it away from your feet.
The hiking socks, like their other products are made with a bamboo weave, which is an ecologically friendly fiber.
When the socks did get wet due to external factors, they did not chafe, nor cause the formation of blisters.

❌ Cons

Thicker than I thought, these are very warm in the summer.
The current hiking socks are fairly high cut and the elastic can be a little restrictive.
The only environmental downside I can see to these socks is the amount of energy it takes to produce these.
These are not the most stylish of colors.
I would also like to see a heavyweight version of their bamboo hiking socks.
They seem to be just a little too big, and I really don’t like how far the crew socks come up on my leg.
These definitely aren’t socks for winter hiking.
As an open message to all sock companies, I also wish that exact weights were included on their websites.

Review Summaries
At the end of the day, I and my fiancé would recommend Ecosox for just about anyone looking to experience the freedom of the trails, and for anyone that wants to have happy feet after all of their explorations.
The pricing point on the Ecosox is comparable to other high end hiking socks and you can get a pair for between 5 and 9 dollars depending on the type. These truly are extremely soft socks that “feel” very good to the skin and I would have no trouble recommending them.
I love bamboo socks and these are no exception they are so comfortable and fit my wide feet along with the being so soft. Bamboo creates 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees while absorbing 5-times greenhouse gases.
These are actually some of my favorite socks I have ever worn, they are so soft and super comfortable. I gave a few pairs away and everyone I gave them to loved them and raved.
They are showing no signs of wear after two months, which means they’re a better value already than most other hiking socks out there – while being more comfortable, less smelly, and just as warm. I give these ten toes up!
I will definitely continue to wear my Ecosox bamboo hiking socks. They are quite comfortable and perform well under the stress of hiking.I think the pricing of Ecosox is competitive, especially when compared with merino wool. So if you aren’t satisfied with you current hiking socks, consider giving bamboo a try.
The specialized heel cup, mid-foot elastic, and frontal pad keep the sock in place and provide extra cushion and padding in places needed most. An extremely comfortable sock to wear that protects your feet from blisters and odor by its natural properties are socks that find themselves on my feet more than any other socks I own lately.
They are a lot thicker than they seem, which isn’t an issue, just not my personal preference in a sock. I still really appreciate their 100% sustainable material and they fit very well.
The instant feeling of the socks was soft and plush. Truly, these are one of the softness pairs of socks I have worn. I was afraid the softness would fade quickly after one wash. However, the sock remains soft even after three washes so far. The socks are breathable while still keeping my foot warm.
