❌ Cons

The only thing I would say, is that I’m not sure I’m going to be requiring a new razor head every week, as I don’t shave that regularly.
If you don’t shave as frequently you may feel this is a bit too much.
The only notable pitt-fall is the cost of shipping the blades back for recycling.
I don’t need a new blade head for every week, probably only every 3-4weeks.
The only product I had an issue with was their post-shave balm which for some reason made me itch.
I ‘d prefer a shaving cream that has more of a foam.
The shaving cream does cost a lot more than I would normally spend.

Review Summaries
Irrationally excited to use my personalised rose gold razor, alongside the exquisite smelling shaving cream, my shower times have become far more enjoyable. A brand that isn’t simply aimed at the exceptionally hairy (as I’d initially feared), FFS are a truly fantastic and sustainable enterprise, who empower both women and the environment. And for that reason, they have my vote.
I really enjoyed trying these out and really treating myself. While not usually something I’d buy, the products were really nice. They had a faint scent, they were super gentle on my skin (which is great as I have really sensitive skin) and they did the job they were supposed to.
Overall, though the FFS experience wasn’t quite as life-changing as the many plaudits had me believe, the convenience and price, coupled with the company’s recycling programme and how good my skin felt afterwards, has made it an indispensable (and non-disposable!) part of my bathroom routine.
I’ve had no problems with the blade heads themselves, they don’t rust quickly, they don’t scratch my legs to bits and I’ve not had any nicks since using them. I get four replacement blades every two months for £9. That’s £4.50 a month for my shaving efforts. Not bad.
I think it’s probably the best razor I’ve ever used but I do prefer a shaving cream that has more of a foam (although I did enjoy that the cream was transparent, that probably helped me see where to shave). It’s been fine for my sensitive skin and I haven’t experienced any irritation, my legs feel great and I think I’ll keep using them for the future.
Overall I am very happy with this company and this brand and would definitely recommend them to a friend or in this case my whole wonderful tribe.
In my opinion they produce the best womens razors available and charge lower prices compared with other shaving subscriptions in the UK. You won’t have to buy any more expensive razors from the drugstore, and FFS Beauty offer free uk delivery!
I am 100% planning on using FFS again. I love what they stand for and that you can recycle the razors. Paying £9 for everything in that box is such a bargain and I would be up for buying the subscription.
Friction Free Shaving definitely lives up to its name too! It’s a subscription service, so each month (or every two months – whichever you prefer) they send you a new pack of 4 blade heads. This means that you’re prompted to change the head before it gets icky,
The razor heads have 6 blades in so as good as many you would buy on the high street, if not better! The handle is metal, not plastic so it is built to last and it is also pretty stylish! I love mine and would definitely recommend it.
The FFS razors use six diamond coated precision trimmer blades that have an Aloe Vera lubrication strip on a flexible head with an ergonomic handle. The reusable handle is metal and comes in either rose gold or three new coated colours – peach, lilac or mint. The blades shave really well and the sturdy handle is lovely to shave with!
At only £9 a month, this service is super affordable for me. Plus, there’s the option of opting for the £5 a month version with a white and pink plastic handle, total bargain! The only thing I would say, is that I’m not sure I’m going to be requiring a new razor head every week, as I don’t shave that regularly. However, once you have an account, you have the option to pause your subscription for a month, which is super handy and I shall definitely be utilising during winter.
