❌ Cons

I just don’t realize any significant benefit from it other than sealing the moisture for my skin.
It feels a bit sticky whenever I pat it in the skin.
I do wish this came in a larger size.
It isn’t really that concentrated overall.
It can feel sticky.
The bottle is so transparent it is virtually impossible to read what’s written on the back.
It does feel a little tacky upon application.
If you live in a dry climate, using HA products on their own isn’t really optimal.
People with oily skin types and combination skin that leans on the oilier side might not like the tackiness this leaves behind on the skin.
It does stay somewhat tacky on the skin, so be wary if you have oily skin.
You really have to massage it in for it to be absorbed.
I don’t see it having additional benefits such as brighening dark spots or reducing acne inflammation.
It doesn’t soothe specific skin irritation (hormonal acne).
It has a very strong herbal scent to it.
I noticed some cystic spots had formed on my lower cheeks.
As this lotion contains humectants, a good emollient cream or moisturiser has to be applied on top to lock in the moisture.
It is not super moisturizing for my really dry skin.
It took a long time to absorb and left a very tacky residue on the surface of my skin.

Review Summaries
The Rovectin Face Oil is extremely lightweight, and adding it to my skin care routine didn’t make my other products feel thick or slimy like I expected, but rather like an extra layer of hydration. Personally, I prefer to mix it with my moisturizer and apply both at the same time before bed to obtain the benefits from both products simultaneously and add some fluidity and hydration to my moisturizer, but using it in replacement of moisturizer works just as well.
I’d recommend the Rovectin Activating Treatment Lotion to anyone with dry, dehydrated skin, but also combination skin that leans on the normal to dry side too.
If you have dry-dehydrated sensitive skin, you’ll love this! I personally think all skin types would enjoy this but might feel heavy for those with oily skin. Even matured skin would enjoy this because it really helps hydrate and lift the skin on multiple layers!
If you’re looking into a lightweight dry-oil that won’t leave any greasy finish, you can check this one out.
Overall, I really like it! It keeps my skin hydrated (and happy!) throughout the day, and when I use it at night I wake up with soft and supple skin. I haven’t been using Vitamin C in my routine recently, but I’ve been noticing my newer PIH fading slowly over time, so that’s probably because of the Activating Treatment Lotion. It works well with the rest of my routine, which is a must.
I like making my life easier and if I can do the same with my skincare routine the better. Rovectin Activating Treatment Lotion seems to make my routine and hydration faster but I see some missing opportunities that my skin was expecting instead. I take this as a quenching treatment because it keeps some promises and I’ll go back to it when my skin will be back to its usual ‘behaviour’.
Since all the products are free of artificial ingredients, toxin-free, cruelty-free, and have sustainable practices, Rovectin is a brand I’m more than happy to endorse. Most of these products are available in sets for those who already have a flawless routine in place.
The lotion plumps up my skin making it look fresh and hydrated. It also creates a clean canvas and prepares the skin for the next skincare steps.
The Rovectin Activating Treatment Lotion is a powerful essence and lotion in one. This has a Barrier Repair complex that helps hydrate the skin while sloughing off dead skin cells. This is formulated with 7 types of hyaluronic acid to address moisture loss, caffeine to de-puff and soothe the skin, papaya fruit extract to help exfoliate, and Panthenol to help improve wrinkles.
If you’re someone who doesn’t like that moisture film or dislike acidic cleansers for their lack of foam action, this is definitely something worth looking into.
This hypoallergenic formula is ultra gentle and won’t cause irritation on even the most sensitive skin types. If you are looking for a toner or essence whose sole purpose is purely hydration, I would totally recommend this.
This is not the one for my dry skin. I do feel that it is a great moisturizer and it would probably be amazing if you don’t have extremely dry skin so I would definitely give it a try.
The Conditioning Cleanser is nothing short of outstanding, and the Activating Treatment Lotion equally wonderful, so hydrating and gentle, a strong new favourite of mine.
In a rating scale of 1 to 5 — 5 being awesome — this product is definitely a 5 for me. This toner/essence is gentle enough to use everyday, morning and evening. It works well with my other skincare products. More importantly, my skin feels amazing after every application. I’ve used many different products that make my skin feel smooth and soft but this is by far the best one. Definitely recommending.
I can tell the fine lines are plumped up and the skin texture feels more soft and smooth. This is a new product, so I can’t yet speak about long-term effects, but my initial impressions are positive. The lotion is also very gentle, so should work for all skin types.
