Review Summaries
I think that overall, Haley really nailed my style and the types of things I like. And this was the first trunk! I didn’t think, “Ew” about a single item in the trunk. I can’t wait to see how they get better over time.
While some might bristle at the concept of having a stranger shop for them, there’s definitely something to be said for handing the reins over to a professional. Regardless of whether you love everything in your trunk, Trunk Club offers a fun way to learn more about your own style and try things you might otherwise never pick out for yourself.
This is a great service for a busy man who may not have the time or inclination to browse stores and hope you make stylish clothing choices. Trunk Club for Men is by far the most personalized and luxurious of the subscription boxes we checked out.
Trunk Club is a personal-styling service owned by Nordstrom that can help you save time shopping. We had eight of our staffers try it, along with a few other services, and in general we found the clothes pricey, with hit-or-miss fit. But it did help some testers find new styles they like, and given the high quality of the clothing offered we think it’s worth a try if you’re looking for investment pieces, or if you have a larger budget.
Your stylist is there to help you decipher confusing dress codes and make you feel and look your best for any occasion. They are also there for you on the day of your special event to give you the boost of confidence you need or help you choose between two gorgeous looks.
I was super happy with the way my stylist really worked with me to find exactly what I wanted. This is a service I know I’ll use again. It’s perfect for those of us that don’t care for shopping or just simply don’t have the time. I also like that everything comes from Nordstrom. I can always find items that I like from there, whether it be shoes or glasses.
What you get in your trunk depends on what kinds of pieces you request from your stylist. But in general, you can request dresses, tops, pants, jackets, shoes, and more. In terms of style, you can expect to see the same kinds of on-trend, quality pieces you’d find at Nordstrom stores.
Someone who likes clothes but doesn’t know how to shop, or have the time, then Trunk Club will work great. Also, if you don’t mind spending a little extra on quality clothing then you’ll really love Trunk Club. Last, if you’re someone who recently lost a bunch of weight and don’t even know where to start with style then I reccomend giving Trunk Club a try, at least once.
My favorite thing about Trunk Club and how I use the service most often is by sending my stylist items that I’ve seen on my favorite fashion bloggers. I love that I can pair the shoes with several different things I already own before I decide if I should keep them. The only con for me is that I would say Trunk Club is a bit pricier, however price is going to depend on what you keep and what you indicate with your stylist that you’re willing to spend. Plus, I’d rather pay a little extra for something that I actually really want.
Trunk Club is a fashion subscription service that pairs you with a stylist to send you handpicked clothing. Each trunk comes with 6-10 clothing items chosen specifically based on what you like. The clothing is all retail price, but you only pay for the items you keep. Once you order your trunk, it will ship within 3-6 days, and you can decide when you want to receive another one.
All in all, I think Trunk Club is 100 percent worth it—especially if you’re using it to shop for an upcoming trip. There’s already so much that goes into vacation planning—destination research, pre-paying bills, arranging for pet care or a housesitter—the list is long; so using a styling service like Trunk Club is a slam-dunk way to streamline the prep process. It could be a shortcut to finding a new pair of polarized sunglasses or comfortable walking shoes for sightseeing. And if you’re sent a few items that shake up or improve your day-to-day wardrobe, that’s just icing on the cake.
Trunk Club is a personal styling service that matches you with a stylist whom handpicks clothing that is sent straight to your door. You can receive Trunks every month, bi-monthly or as often as you would like. You get an itemized preview email that you can review and either tell your stylist to send, don’t send or add in something different. If you have a Nordstrom’s credit card, there is no styling fee.
I loved trying on 12 different pieces, mixing and matching, and planning out outfits. I also loved that I could review the trunk before it shipped, chat with my stylist, request specific pieces, and that UPS will pick up my trunk from me for free so I don’t even have to make the trip to the UPS drop-off! I’m very happy overall, especially with my phone call about the cardigan and their excellent customer service.
With Trunk Club, which some might call a Nordstrom style box, you are assigned a stylist who calls you on the phone to get to know you. You can get your Trunks for free. That is, if you are a Nordstrom Card holder that adds their card to their Trunk Club profile do not have to pay a styling fee. If you’d like to experience Trunk Club IRL, you can work with one of its in-person personal stylists.
