Free Way Double Hop IPA is the best of the bunch.
Brewed with a blend of five Northwest hops, this IPA is well-balanced with harmony among the malt and bitterness and a hint of citrusy hops.
The products are light, crisp, refreshing, and full of fruit and hop flavor.
It is also gluten free and suitable for vegans..
It finishes with just the right amount of bitterness.
The taste is clean and refreshing.
Athletic has even perfected its own proprietary de-alcoholization process.
It’s bursting with tropical hop notes.
Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA is crisp, flavorful, and undeniably delicious.
The aroma is noticeably hoppy, with hints of fruity and citrus notes.
It has good nose.
The initial sip is refreshing and full of flavour, finishing with a slight bitterness you would expect from a golden/blonde ale style beer.
Athletic’s founder started the company specifically to create a beer more compatible with an active lifestyle, and with Run Wild, he hit the mark.
This beer contains 14 calories per 100ml, making it one of the lowest calorie non-alcoholic beers available.
They are familiar tasting when it comes to the fruit, but, thanks to the addition of the hop oil, have a unique twist.
They create each batch with an artisanal approach to maximize the expression of all ingredients.
Upside Dawn pours a delightful golden colour, with soft-looking foam that encircles the glass and leaves an island of bubbles.
With only 70 calories per can, there’s no reason you have to stop at just one.
It’s flavorful and dynamic, unlike some mass-market competitors whose non-alcoholic beer tastes hollow in comparison.
It has good bitterness.
It gives llight mouth feel.
This beer would be great for anyone who has a palate for craft beer.
The mouthfeel is very light with good carbonation, each sip giving a good bubbly sensation.
The gluten is removed from the finished product.
The top down hierarchy of the label makes it easy to figure this product out quickly.
This seems like a product that bridges the gap between a true non-alcoholic beverage and a beer.
There’s a sweet finish.
This is the perfect beer for anyone looking for a quality non-alcoholic option.
Upside Dawn suitable for vegans and has been treated to contain less than 20PPM of gluten making it gluten free accordion to most definitions.
The hop oil adds a pine note and a touch of bitterness, which makes the product have a lot more depth than you’d get from just fruit flavor alone.

Review Summaries
Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA is crisp, flavorful, and undeniably delicious. Even for those that think they’re not IPA fans, this one will have you second guessing yourself. The perfect beer for anyone looking for a quality non-alcoholic option.
Upside Dawn is a credible non-alcoholic beer that’s handy to have ready in the cooler/fridge. The aroma and flavours are understated without boring the taste buds. Just don’t expect a golden ale that adheres to the classic style guidelines – there’s far too much fruity hop flavours in there to tick that box.
The malty flavor is not very piney. It has good bitterness. It has good nose. It gives llight mouth feel.I liked it!
A very good flavourful non-alcoholic beer that is easily sessionable. We think it’s quite versatile and will appeal to many, could pair well with food or drunk as lighter alternative for IPA session drinkers. Bonus that it is also gluten free and suitable for vegans.
Whether you live a sober lifestyle or you just want to imbibe a bit less, our review team recommends Athletic Brewing for runners and for anyone looking to live a healthy lifestyle. Moderation (of basically everything) is key to living your best life.
Overall, we really like seeing Athletic Brewing expanding out their offering into a new category and we especially like how they’ve done it in such a way (with hops!) that it lightly ties back to their core mission. The execution of these products is quite good and, with some slight tweaks to the branding, it should fit very nicely in Athletic’s portfolio.
One of the new kids on the block, Athletic Brewing Co. only makes NAs, and Free Way Double Hop IPA is the best of the bunch. It’s bursting with tropical hop notes and finishes with just the right amount of bitterness.
We don’t think you’d go wrong with any of Athletic’s offerings but Run Wild is a great introduction to the brewery. The balanced malt bill and vibrant hop profile make it taste like your favorite East Coast IPA.
