❌ Cons
“For the price and size it’s quite expensive.”
“I would not recommend to anyone with sensitive or dry-normal skin types to use this (or at least not all over their face – perhaps just t-zone).”
“Sand and Sky is pricey.”
“One ingredient to look out for if you have sensitive skin is benzyl alcohol; this can actually cause irritation, so bear this in mind if your skin doesn’t react well to alcohol.”

“The burning is quite uncomfortable.”
“I can’t say for sure it made me feel less oily throughout the day.”
“I found the sand granules a bit harsh for my skin, especially on my neck and decolletage.”
“Immediately after applying the mask I felt a stinging sensation.”
“If you’ve got dry skin, you might not find this hydrating or substantial enough to become your evening moisturiser, but it’d be a great one to use on humid summer mornings under makeup.”
⚖️ Final Say
Read the summaries of what reviewers think about Sand and Sky below.

“We were so impressed with the results, and found the whole process of painting the Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay mask on our faces a lovely elevation to our evening self-care routines. If your complexion is crying out for some brightening and soothing, we’d absolutely recommend adding to cart.”
“I am in love with all of these products and I highly recommend this brand. You will get results with these products and notice an immediate difference in the texture of your skin. As I said the products are suitable for all skin types, but please do a patch test.”
“My final grade is an 8/10. It’s expensive and uncomfortable, but does give you the noticeable results promised. I didn’t notice a post application increase in breakouts either which is great. The absorption of oil lasted for about 2-3 days, but it almost absorbed too much leaving my skin uncomfortably tight. Perhaps you could leave on for a shorter period of time, or only use in your oiliest regions – namely the t-zone. Also, it’s important to note that it didn’t reduce any redness, so had little impact on calming existing breakouts.”
“This may sound hard to believe, but after using the face mask just one time, I immediately reaped the benefits of using it! I instantly felt my skin feel so much smoother, brighter, and lighter just after one use!”
“Overall I am so impressed with their skincare. I have been obsessed with their pink clay mask for years so I was so beyond excited to try their other products that had the pink clay, and they lived up to my expectations! If you have acne prone skin it’s worth a shot because I have noticed an improvement in my skin since I started using this line!”
“In short, I’ve gotta concede – these Insta-famous hydrating products are very, very lovely. And they look excellent in my bathroom cabinet.”
“I’d thoroughly recommend this Sand and Sky pink clay mask. It’s a product I’ve used for years, even though it’s expensive. I feel like it cleans my skin better than almost anything else.”
“I’ve since tried this mask pre-makeup in the morning and the results were just as amazing! my foundation and makeup smoothed on so much easier and didn’t gather along spots I normally have dry or textured skin (like in between the eyebrows!). After all, what’s 10 minutes when it equates to instantly better complexion? Consider it part of my arsenal from now on!”
“If you’re into the packaging, get a thrill from trying new beauty launches and have cash to spend, go for it! If not, save your money.”
“If you’re a firm believer that no animals should suffer for our vanity, this reason should propel you to support this brand.”
“I highly recommend this to anyone that has a face! It works so good, and it’s just a fun mask to use as well.”
“I noticed that this pink clay mask does make my pores look smaller and my skin looks brighter and more refreshed. The brightening qualities of the mask makes it look like I had a full 8 hours of sleep! When I use it I can usually skip foundation and opt for a lighter tinted moisturizer, just because it makes my skin happy. It’s like my little piece of Australian pink goddess heaven right in my apartment.”
“Overall, if you’re partial to a clay mask in your skincare routine, you’ll definitely be happy with the results from the Sand and Sky mask. However, if like me, you favor a sheet mask, or you haven’t really tried clay masks before, this one may be a little on the expensive side to try first time. I do believe it improved the overall appearance of my skin, but it didn’t blow my mind. Going forward, I’ll probably use this mask before makeup for an event to give a glowing boost to the skin.”
“All in all, if you have the cash but you’re on the fence about it, give it a go! It’s a natural, vegan, and cruelty-free product, and if it helps you feel great in your skin, it’s priceless.”
“At $39.90 and $34.90, respectively, Sand & Sky’s Clearing Moisturizer and Clearing Face Mask aren’t inexpensive products by any means. But if you’re looking for solid products that are a step above drugstore brands but not as pricey as luxury brands, I recommend these wholeheartedly.”
