⚖️ Final Say

Review Summaries
“It’s a wood pellet grill that really can both smoke and sear, and it was the most efficient grill in our testing group of 5 units. A 24 pound pellet hopper means that you can get over 20 hours of cooking at smoking temperatures, so an overnight brisket cook is right in the wheelhouse for this grill. There’s not much to argue with in this unit, and in the sub-$600 price range it preforms very well against the competition.”
“The pros far outweigh the cons when it comes to owning a Z Grills 700D3 wood pellet grill! So, if you’ve been on the fence about purchasing a Z Grills smoker, I say go for it!”
“I’ve been in heaven for the last four weeks grilling just about every other day. My friends and family have absolutely loved the meat that came off the Z Grills Cruiser 200A portable pellet grill. I’ll never use a non-pellet grill again. I’m not a grill master yet, but I’m making great food now. Bravo Z Grills, bravo!”
“Despite a few hiccups with the 450B, I have genuinely enjoyed having this grill in my cooking area. It has plenty of cooking space for my family and is consistent. While it may not have the features of some higher-end pellet grills even in the Z Grills lineup, it is a quality grill at its price point.”
“The Z Grills 7002C2E is a great option for people looking for an entry-level pellet grill. It has a great feature set that will make you feel like your money was well spent. The grill holds temperature well, is extremely easy to move around, and will produce killer smoked food at an affordable price.”
“I’d recommend the Cruiser 200A to anybody looking for a great portable grill option. It punches much higher than its price-point would suggest, rivaling higher-tier options like the Traeger Ranger. It’s also a great option if you live in an apartment or townhome that has limited space for grills. It’s hard to go wrong with the Cruiser 200A when shopping for a solution with a small footprint.”
“It’s fair to say, I’m pretty much obsessed with my Z Grill. Between the ease of use, beautiful design, and all the delicious meals you can make on the Z Grill, it’s easy to see why!”
“Bottom line, I thought I would never talk about any other smoker than the Traeger. While I love the Traeger and use it all the time, the Z Grill is a viable option and one not to be overlooked. The Z Grill has better price tags and offers a lot more than the Traeger.”
“The Z Grill 700D4E is a straightforward, easy-to-use smoker without a lot of bells and whistles. It’s a great entry-level pellet grill and should be in consideration for those shopping around.”
“The Cruiser is a fantastic pellet grill that is truly portable. I can move it around by myself and it fits in the back of a vehicle easily. The latches keep the lid from opening while moving the grill and also helps seal the lid during smoking as well. I can pack the eight-pound hopper full of pellets and let the Cruiser run for hours on end without worries.”
“Of all the pellet grills we’ve used, what sets the Z Grills Backyard Warrior 7002C2E apart from the others is its efficient use of pellets. Considering the grilling space, we used fewer pounds than we have in our Traeger and Pit Boss models. Aside from that, its large hopper capacity, included front tray and cover, dual meat probes, and easy rolling make it a pleasure to use. The fact that you can get it for under $600 makes it an excellent value.”
“In my opinion the 600D3E Z-Grill is a very decent pellet grill and won’t set you back an arm and a leg if you want to “stick a toe in the water” where pellet grilling is concerned.”
“The Z Grills200A is a fantastic grill at a fantastic price point. Despite its small stature, it performs admirably at home or on the road. I’d put it toward the top of the class in terms of its key feature: portability. It’s lightweight, but durable, and has fantastic thermal efficiency in the cooking chamber.”
“The Z Grills ZPG-450A Wood Pellet Grill & Smoker is an affordable, no-frills pellet grill that delivers great flavor, but it performs better with low-heat smoking than traditional high-temperature grilling.”
“Without hesitation I recommend purchasing a Z Grill. I look at it as a long term investment that will take years to pay off, but with proper maintenance and care there are so many wonderful meals to enjoy!”
